From kidulthood to adulthood Bashy said it best
we need to change the way this generation thinks
be responsible adults and set an example for the rest
I aint saying i know what they think, i aint saying I’m from the hood
some say if they could they would, I say these kids are misunderstood
violence melting the soul, we’re on the brink of something big
with all the blood that’s laid in the street we’re soon gonna sink
its obvious life aint pretty pictures, not all yellow and pink
its a big ugly blob, permanent like paper drowned in ink
cant catch a wink or blink without getting stabbed for ya drink
younglings don’t think just ending life jus for a bit of water
this isn’t a motherfucking joke no more its a slaughter
mother losing all her family, husband, son and daughter
mother on her knees crying in the streets, not a pretty sight
all this does is anger me and makes me wanna go fight
bring the boys and go after them in the middle of the night
give them a taste of their own medicine but its not right or bright
cause without a thought if they catch me they probably just might
stop discrimination, we need to stick together its not black or white
some people aren’t aware how serious it is so to help rhymes i write
this isn’t media anymore its peoples lives we’re talking about

bail or blank out
but please belt out
blare and breath out
cause we need to clean out
