what i feel

Thinking of you gets me shivering
ladies don’t think you the only ones to get hurt
like a turtle it’ll take something special to get our emotions out
you did that but without explanation you also put the flame out
i know this has been said before but you weren’t like any other girl
you dressed different and smelt different
nothing to overpowering and didn’t dress to get attention
and all the guys still liked you, drooling at your feet
the attention didn’t get to you as you still acted sweet
this made all the fake plastic girls jealous of you
and every guy wanting to wake up next to you
the beauty is the choice was yours
and in our heart you saw me as yours
been waiting to be happy for years
and all it took were your eyes to make me smile
finding happiness after all these year was worthwhile
i still remember the look on your face to when i shouted out your name
i’d never been that happy and all my previous girls combined cudnt do the same
many stars full of pocket came along but you ddnt care about the fame
leading me to believe that true love conquers all
but everything no matter how great has to fall
for every beginning there is always an end
the devil will strike those with something to die for
its like our love packed its bags and walked out the door
no explanation, not a word less, not a word more
just woke up one morning and the picture frame was empty
all i have are the glorious memories
closing my eyes and picturing you in my dreams
but i guess nothing is ever what it seems
some people say you weren’t happy and needed out
some say you cudnt believe it had lasted this long
your previous relationships weren’t always as strong
which made you wonder whether you were good enough for me
you said you needed to clear your head
but we both know things aren’t gonna be the same now
we’ve both shown doubt and lack of trust
maybe its best to go our separate ways and just remember the good times
wen ever im feeling down all i gotta do is add your name in all my rhymes
never thought the day would come for us to say our goodbyes
but you are always with me whenever i close my eyes.

To clear my head was my excuse
My reason to leave, my reason to breathe, my reason to go seemed like abuse
Left you aside, to retreat to the world
But see, you left your mark on this one girl
So simple was I, so plain I tried to be
The dudes at my feet, that wasn't my scene
But see you came along and a nuance in thought
The passion and appreciation, were truly the pieces you brought
To have someone close, to have someone there
You were that one and you made it so clear
Perhaps the reason I left was because it was so strong
To see it reversed, would make me feel wrong
Saying goodbye was the lie that I had to use
But really, to stay, I still would have to lose
Looking back now, walking away was so hard
Seems like I should have hit, taken one more card
In my game of blackjack, I could have had 21
But I let go, I stopped, and baby, I had to run
Not from you, not from the compassion
But ran from the power, the possible dissatisfaction
All we've got now are those simple memories
But when I'm feelin sick of being apart, they are my remedies
So when you lay back and think of those happy days
Know I'm thinking to, of you in so many ways

lol, well when you get to writing
Malke sure you clear your mind
By that I mean, put it in words
And take your time

Empty the contents of your heart and soul
Write out everything, nothing you can hold
Don't stress over the rhyming
Void all the useless timing
Simply phrase how you feel
Then indeed, poetry is the real deal
