the only dream

I’m sitting at my table writing a few rhymes
wishing i had cable but tht gon cost a few dimes
cant deal with anymore problems, my life is unstable
crime no longer paying, fallen thru hard times
no longer high maintenance now wearin fake labels
sitting and dreamin tht someone will pay for my rhymes
cause round my way we all desperately need money
but we all greedy as we all want a whole lot more
to go on expensive holidays were its always sunny
be a V.I.P and be able to buy out a whole store
the whole dream is centred around MTV cribs
everybody wants to be like that tall dark rich handsome guy
with a mansion in Beverly hills and another two in shanghai
on his drive way he got a Ferrari and a Lamborghini
inside his house girls running around in their bikini
rubbing the lamp and wishing i had my own genie
would like to recreate the marriage feast in Cana
instead of water into wine lets make it paper into money
collecting that pollen and making life as sweet as honey
at the moment all i do is sleep and dream it
one day will climb the mountain and make it
one day when the dream exists i’ll sit back and reminisce
fear nothing as look i straight into the eyes of the abyss
as i see myself sitting at my table writing a few rhymes
wishing i had cable but i kno tht gonna cost a few dimes
