i see moms struggling to strife,
gettin up at five, as a drunken husband begins to strike,
because hes mad an his day went bad,
kids hate him an dont even call him dad,
an the wife is sad,
trying to keep the family together & forever,
no matter how hard the pain is,
to sustain this,
an its breakin her heart,
i only ask why is life so hard...??,
but with the pull of a trigger u can die so rapidly,
if only life were so easy,
i see a kid gettin bullied at school,
they use him as a tool,
an cuts his wrists an smokes weed to make pain go away,
trying to survive for the next day,
as he begins to pray,
that tomorrow he wont be the prey,
but in a later day,
they find his body in the river,
cops call it homicide,
but naw it was a suicide,
so horrible the way he died,
leaving his family scarred,
yet again i ask why is life so hard...?
